AI Disclosure

We believe you should know when — and how — you're interacting with AI.

Last updated: July 16, 2026

SnapAPrice uses artificial intelligence to read photos and estimate the size of a removal job. The result is an estimate, not a final price. A human at the business you contacted reviews and confirms the actual price.

1. Where AI is used

  • Photo-to-estimate: when you upload photos, an AI vision model assesses the volume and types of items to gauge the scope of the job. Our software then applies the business's own pricing rules to produce a price range.
  • Owner assistant (Clients only): the in-dashboard assistant uses a language model to help business owners adjust their settings by conversation. It only changes settings the owner explicitly asks it to change.

2. What the AI does not do

  • It does not set final prices — it estimates scope; the business's rules and a human set price.
  • It does not make the pickup happen or enter into a contract on anyone's behalf.
  • It is not used to make legally or similarly significant automated decisions about you (such as credit, employment, or insurance).

3. Accuracy & limits

AI estimates are inherently approximate. Photo angle, lighting, hidden items, and unusual materials can affect accuracy. For that reason, heavy debris, specialty items, and unclear photos are flagged for the business to price by hand rather than relying on the automated range. Estimates may be wrong, and should be treated as a starting point, not a guarantee.

4. Human oversight

Every job is ultimately reviewed by the business. The business can adjust or decline any estimate, and confirms the final price with you directly — typically by text and again on site.

5. Your data and AI

Photos and inputs are sent to our AI provider solely to generate the estimate for the business you contacted. We do not use your photos to train third-party AI models. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Questions

If anything about our use of AI is unclear, or you'd like a job reviewed by a person, contact the business you requested a quote from, or email us at support@snapaprice.com.
