SMS Opt-In
How people consent to text messages from SnapAPrice, what they receive, and how to opt out.
Who sends these messages
SnapAPrice LLC ("SnapAPrice") sends all text messages from our toll-free number (866) 974-3831, and every message begins with "SnapAPrice:". We text two groups of our own customers. Each group opts in separately, with a checkbox that is unchecked by default. Nobody is texted without checking it.
1. Homeowners requesting a quote
Junk removal companies that use SnapAPrice give homeowners a quote form at snapaprice.com/q/[company]. You can try the live form at www.snapaprice.com/q/snapaprice. The steps are:
- The homeowner uploads 1–3 photos of the items to be removed.
- They answer two quick questions: where the items are, and whether any need special handling.
- They enter their name, mobile phone number, and ZIP code. Directly below the phone number is an optional SMS checkbox, unchecked by default. Screenshot of the live form:
On a client's form the box names that company, for example "I agree to receive text messages from Northside Hauling, sent via SnapAPrice, at the number above…". The full wording:
- They tap "Get my instant quote" and see their estimate on screen whether or not they checked the box. If it is unchecked, they are never texted; the company may call them instead.
Homeowners who check the box receive a pickup confirmation once the company confirms the job, and up to 3 reminders if the quote has not been booked. Examples:

2. Junk removal business owners (our clients)
Business owners who use SnapAPrice opt in from Settings in their dashboard (snapaprice.com/dashboard/settings, behind their login) by entering a mobile number for job alerts and checking a separate box, which is unchecked by default. Screenshot:

They receive alerts about new quote and booking requests, plus replies from their customers. Example:

Frequency, cost, and opting out
- Message frequency varies: per quote for homeowners, per lead for business owners.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Business owners can also uncheck the box in Settings.
- Reply HELP for help, or email support@snapaprice.com.
- Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.

Privacy
